Huron National Forest

Pine River, Michigan

Something about a brook swirling through a pine forest on a July afternoon, the steady rushing sound reaching out before the sight emerges from around the bend, reminds us of all that is clear and true in life, touching our deepest thoughts and calling us to one with Creation.

Taking the time to really soak in what’s around us and see all the little things nature has to offer us is one of the more rewarding things in life. There was a time when I stopped seeing the beauty around me. Those were my darkest days. I am posting something on that later today.
