A Solitude of Crisp Cold

There’s a singular stillness that fills the woods on a winter’s afternoon, a solitude of crisp cold and hushed wind.  And so it was last weekend on a visit to this glen near Ann Arbor, Michigan.

      Thanks! I would be glad to send you a day’s worth of snow, but I’m afraid it would melt somewhere over Nevada. You may just have to put a winter weekend in snow country on your to-do list. 🙂
