      Thanks, Janet. Most pics are from the largest falls in Michigan, Tacquahmenon River in Upper Peninsula. I think it’s on the lower reaches of the Canadian Shield; there’s a lot more changes in relief in the UP.

      Thanks, Maniparna. I saw a story that today some town in western India set a new record temp of over 50 C! Oh my! The hottest it has ever been here in Detroit was 40 C. I bet they would have liked to get that cool spray off these waterfalls! 🙂

      thanks for following and i’m glad you enjoyed the photo. that waterfall is in the wilderness part of my state, about 350 miles north of where i live. it’s pretty amazing!

        The American deserts are far from where I live. I just read that the 5 Great Lakes that surround Michigan have 20% of the world’s fresh water. That makes for lots of green and blue photographs!
