      Thanks very much! Michigan does not have too many waterfalls, but these on the Tacquahmenon River are pretty spectacular. There is also a higher falls about 5 miles upriver. Thanks again for stopping by.

      This is one of my favorite spots. It’s about 350 miles north of where I live–in the wilderness part of the state. Michigan is actually two peninsulas separated by the Straits of Mackinac, where two of the Great Lakes meet. The Straits are spanned by a five mile long bridge, which makes for an exhilarating drive 150 feet above the water. The Upper Peninsula has very few people and is mostly wilderness. Hundreds of miles of forests and Lake Superior on the north. The river in the pics runs into Lake Superior. It’s quite incredibly beautiful country. When you are a rich and renowned IT person, you should visit! 🙂
