I climbed those dunes last October and yes, they DO dwarf the humans. Great shots of this beautiful place in MI.

That was quite a climb! Lots of people trudging and scampering on the dunes in summer–trudging up, and scampering down. 🙂

I had many good times at Warren Dunes! We live in Georgia now, but when we lived in South Bend, IN we frequently enjoyed Warren Dunes in summer and winter.

I have been there in 3 out of 4 seasons. Perhaps this the year to try a visit in winter.

The Great Lakes do resemble inland seas, with their vast expanse. Just no salt in the water!
