      Yes, thanks for the reference to your homeland’s culture. I love Tchaikovsky. I went to see the Detroit (where I live) Symphony Orchestra play T’s violin concerto last December. Marvelous!

      We’re lucky to have several local lakes where swans have taken up residence. Interestingly, the swans in northern Michigan are a different species entirely, as I learned while visiting a bird and wildlife refuge in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan last summer.
