While here I stand, not only with the sense
Of present pleasure, but with pleasing thoughts
That in this moment there is life and food
For future years.

This is a wonderful verse. I was not familiar with it. Your photos are stunning. The rain might pound down most of the leaves this week so I am savoring every view.

Yes, I’m afraid these colors will not stay much longer. I love Wordsworth and this is one of my favorites.

This fall we’ve had such vibrant colors! I turned a corner in the path I was hiking and was presented with this scene. It was late in the afternoon, so it just remained to get right the dramatic lighting.

Is this the lake in Westland or Livonia?

Livonia. It’s along Hines Dr. just west of Newburgh Rd.
