Happy Canada Day!
Photo: the Athabasca River in Jasper National Park, Alberta. I had occasion to drive the Icefields Parkway along the Athabasca a few times back in the day and I can attest that it’s one of the great drives on our planet.

Jasper is a great place and not as crowded as Banff. Wow, have not seen you in the blogosphere for ages! Nice to see you.

Such beautiful photos, Tom. I have fond memories of the Jasper scenery, even though it was in winter. 🙂

a different kind of beauty in winter. I was in Banff once in mid May and the lakes were still frozen and snow in the woods. quite remarkable!
